The Moss Rose Sampler

This is my finsihed quilted picture of the Moss Ross. The picture is a product of a class with Grete Guliksen Moe, inspiration from nature.

The picture of the flower below I took in Egypt. Someone on the net told me that it probably is a Moss Rose.  The flower comes in many colors.

In the class I got help to make a pattern from the picture, and the flower is then paper-pieced. In this quilt I have done things I have never done before; used pink fabric, decorated with beeds, and mixed different fabric qualities.

Your quilt is beautiful. I bet that was fun creating your own pattern.
