Hooked on hats!

Hats are the perfect knitting project. Cheap, quick and a endless amount of styles available. You can never have enough hats.  For some reason I seem to loose my hats too....

This is the 8th hat I have knitted of this pattern, for me this time! Instead of Rauma Vamsegarn (100 % wool), I used 2 balls of Dale Continga (alpacca and merino wool).
The pattern (in Norwegian) is available for free at Rauma's page (September 2013).
Had a day off today. My hobbie and I went skiing at Blefjell, Buskerud, Norway. It snowed last night, and the tracks where fresh. Beautiful!

Lovely hat, Mona. I love the horizontal cables and the wool looks lovely and soft. How wonderful that you have been ski-ing; your photos of your wintry wonderland are fantastic!

Thank you for linking up with Wool on Sundays :)

That is a gorgeous hat. I love cables and they look so effective like that. Very jealous of your beautiful snow from here in hot Australia!

And oh my, I just looked up Rauma on Ravelry. The patterns are amazing! The colourwork is just divine. I think I need to learn a new language!
