Denali handbag

When I travel, I buy fabric instead of all the junk you can get as souvenirs. These fabrics where purchased last summer in Denali, Alaska, USA. For the inside of the bag I used a lighter scrap fabric, which makes it easier to find smaller items inside. The bag is washable.

This bag is my contribution in a sew-along, hosted by "Epla", the magazine "Dilla på håndlaget" and the shop "Stoff & Stil". Pattern is here (norwegian). The bag must be finished by March 26, you have still time to enter!

Very nice work on the bag. What a good idea to get fabric as a souvenir.

Fin väska!
Jag tycker att det låter trevligt att Du köper med Dig tyg hem från en resa. För när Du sedan syr och använder Dina saker blir det ju en påminnelse om resan.

I think it's lovely that you buy fabrics to remind you of your travels. This is a beautiful bag :)
