The wallhanging is now ready and up in my kitchen, and I am pleased with the result, they go well with my french inspired kitchen. I love these fabrics from Kathrines Quiltestue!The description on how to make this star by machine I found on the internet page of The Blue Mountain Quilt Guild in California. Note that the start block consists of four sub-blocks. Each sub-block measure 6 1/4 " inch before assembly.
I made a sampler of this block earlier, but I prefer to do them on my sewing machine. If I am going to use this block again, I will make the blocks a little smaller. The size is good for a bigger quilt like a bed quilt or throw.
And I made another pencil case today, this time a circular one.
Tonight I made this quick pencil case for my son. Hope he will like it!
