Trivets from fabric stash

Love these knitted trivets made from my quilting fabric scraps, this one is on request from my mom.
I use knitting needles size 15 mm, 13 stiches, 13 rows.

In this trivet I have used three strips each 1 1/4 inch. I cut the strips in width of fabric, and tie the into a strip as shown in this picture:

Short row trivet

With summer comes knitting with cotton yarn! This trivet got done first, and my mother took immediate ownership of them. I have started another pair for my sister.
