Knitted Afghans

I just finished the blue throw in the picture, the brown one has been in frequent use the last year.

Both throws are patterns from "The Ultimate Book of Knit Afghans", ISBN: 0-88195-936-7 from the American School of Needlework.

Blue Afghan:
Twisting Cabels, page 12
Yarn: Red Hart Supersaver, Color: 0943 Blueberry Pie

Brown Afghan:
Cable Stripe Page 53
Yarn: Red Hart, Color: 67592 Painted Desert (?)

I think knitting projects like these are fun to do (while watching my favourite movie), and they keep my hands out of the candy bowl. They are very popular gifts and quite comfortable to use, also while you knit them!

Thank you to my mother-in-law for sponsoring the yarn!
