North Star quilts

Main pattern: North Star by Elizabeth Hartmann. The frame and background fabric is also an Elizabeth Hartmann design, but for another pattern. The hare is from another of her designs. The fabric used for the animals are from my scraps; wanted to make them more realistic.

North American Wildlife Wall Quilt

I purchased this quilt kit in Alaska some years ago, and it is now up in one of the bedrooms in my mountain cabin in Norway.  A great memory from a fantastic trip.

Learn to Count?

Counting seems to be a challenge to me these days....
I love this quilt, "Flurry" by Kate Spain. Not a very exiting project to put together, but o so lovely.
I am debating to get it quilted by a long-arm quilter.
I do need to find fabric for the binding too.
Maybe done by christmas?

Blogger's Quilt Festival

This New York Beauty quilt started at a class with May Lisbeth Ringsell at the NQF 20 anniversary meeting in Norway april 2008. The blocks are partly paper pieced. It is quilted by machine. It was my first time doing curves in a quilt. The quilt decorates my office, and is often admired.
Thang you Amy's Creative Side for hosting the festival!
