Drop Zone Trays
Love these little pouches that fold out as trays. Great for sewing accessories. I made them with souvenir fabric from my trip to Australia. Pattern is "Drop Zone" byannie.com

Three pocket tote
I have made two three-pocket totes to give away as presents.
The pattern is "Three Pocket Tote" (TQC401) designed by Karen Montgomery, published by The Quilt Company .
Ran into the woods next to my house to get the picture, got eaten up by mosquitoes. But it is so pretty with the sharp green new growth on the blueberry brush and the pine trees.

Preparing summer vacation projects

Summer Garden Granny Squares at my favourite Crochet blog; Attic24.
Here is the best result so far. I will keep practicing, and maybe buy some brighter cotton yarn for a whole blanket this summer. Anybody have any idea how much yarn I should get?
I have also started to wash and iron fabrics for my next quilt called "Summer in the Garden". It is a kit purchased from The Country Schoolhouse last summer. It is based on fabric by Holly Taylor called Natural Garden.

I have made a kit for my mother-in-law in the US, to show her how to make money pouches this summer.

For the boys room!

I have now finished a soccer wall hanging for my sisters boys room.
I have used hexagons as on the soccer ball, and thick batting. The hexagon technique I found in May Britt's blog, quick and easy! Also a great way to use up your scraps!
The color palette is from the soccer field, and in addition red for their favourite team Manchester United. The gold hexagon is for their favourite player David Beckham's gold shoes.
