Pot Holders

This is my first product in a tecnique new to me; tunisian crochet /railway knitting
I also crocheted scallops along the edges, also a first time for me. Not perfect, but it was fun, I will make more!
I used cotton yarn Schachenmayr Cotton Time; which was a good choice. The cotton yarn did not split, and it is washable. I used a chrochet hook 5mm from Knit Pro with a cord.
The pattern is from a norwegian book called "Hekling og hakking til kjøkkenet" by Tove Fevang. The book is now available in a cheaper version in the grocery store magazine shelf!

This is when my 16 year old son started to give me a hard time....

I love your potholders. They're beautiful. I'm sorry to find (from the link) that yarn is not available in the uk. They have a nice selection of colours :)
