3/8 sticks of butter
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups milk
3 cups flour
2 pinches of salt
2 pinches of cardamom
I use different kinds of milk, depending of what I have available in the refrigirator.Melt an cool the butter. Mix eggs in a bowl. Add half the milk and all the butter and salt. Shift in the dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth batter. Add the rest of the milk gradually.Bake in a waffel iron until golden brown. Makes about 12 rounds.
I think these vaffels are very good. I serve with blueberry jam, maple syrup or fresh fruit. Today I sliced up fresh pinapple, very good!
The receipe is based on the receipt that came with my Åviken Waffel iron, with some personal adjustment.

50 g smør/margarin
2 egg
7 dl melk
6 dl hvetemel
2 krm salt
1/2 ts kardemomme
Jeg bruker forskjellige typer melk, avhengig av hva jeg har av rester i kjøleskapet.
Smelt smørt og avkjøl. Visp egg i en bolle. Tilsett halvparten av melken, allt smør og salt. Sikt i det tørre. Visp til røren er glatt. Spe i resten av melken. Stekes i vaffeljern til de er gyldenbrune. Oppskrifte gir ca 12 vaffelplater.
