I can remember this happening here a few times on our May long weekend (usually the closest weekend to the 24th of May in Canada). It is traditionally the first camping weekend of the year so, getting snowed out makes it memorable! It will disappear soon enough.
Wow !! Snow in May Is right ! I really am not surprised as our weather pattern has really changed the last few years ,Hurricane season starts here Tuesday, but there is already a tropical wave in the gulf now ,gonna be a busy summer I think !
Snow in the end of May is very unusual here, but it happend last sunday. The snow did not melt before the next day.
