Broken Dishes Table Runner

Another quilt finish, all from scraps! The table runner is inspired by Moda Bake Shop "Choc-O-Cherry Turnover Treat" by The Happie Zombie.

The basic block is called "Broken Dishes", see Delaware Quilts for info on how to make this block. My Broken dishes blocks are 5x5 inches, and the inner red blocks are also 5x5 inches. The corner blocks are 2 5x5 inches  blocks cut diagonally, and the side blocks are 5,75x5,75 inches cut diagonally.

The fabric is "Natural Garden" by Holly Taylor for Moda Fabric.

The Broken Dishes block is also presented in the latest issue of the norwegian quilting magazine.

I have also this weekend finished another "We call them pirates" knitted hat, number eight this winter!
